Android Creators Out of Google

Andy Rubin

Andy Rubin, known as the creator of Google's Android resigned. Reported by The Wall Street Journal and quoted KompasTekno, Friday (10/31/2014), Rubin will leave Google and will establish an incubator company engaged in the hardware technology.

Google itself has confirmed the news of the departure of Andy through a statement from the CEO of Google, Larry Page. "I expect Andy to get the best for the future. Android is the creation of truly remarkable - with over one billion users are happy. Thank you," said Larry.

Rubin left the position in robotics division Google will temporarily held by James Kuffner.

What's interesting about this is whether the departure of Google's Rubin contributed to Android's father incubator company. When asked about this, Google spokesman declined to comment.

Andy Rubin was ousted from his position as head of the Android operating system in early 2013. He was replaced by Sundar Pichai, who previously served as senior vice president for Chrome and apps. Rubin subsequently given the task of working on the Google robot project.

Before creating and joining Google Android, Rubin worked at Apple. Then, he made the company a hardware device, Danger. He left after the company was bought Danger Microsoft.

Together Rich Miner, Nick Sears and Chris White, Rubin build company Android Inc. in October 2003, which focused on the development of mobile operating system is open (open source). Google acquired Android then worth 50 million US dollars in August 2005.
