Google Translate finally managed to bring the universal translator technology in Star Trek to your smartphone.

In the latest update that Google launched this translator application, there is a new feature called Word Lens can translate written text instantly by simply directing the camera lens to the text you want translated.

In fact, the features of Word Lens can also work without an internet connection. To date, Word Lens has been able to be used in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. However, for other languages, you still have to shoot the word you want translated in advance.
