busabase.id - Since 2016, Xiaomi has shaken the world by presenting its unique full screen smartphone called Mi MIX.
At the very beginning of its introduction, it was still very rare for a smartphone to have a really full screen with a thin bezel. You could say this Mi MIX is a masterpiece smartphone from Xiaomi because of its unique design.
Over time, the design of the full screen Mi MIX is even more interesting. This is evident from the launch of the HP Mi MIX Alpha concept which coincided with the presence of the Mi 9 Pro.
Compared to previous generations, Mi MIX Alpha is the most unique smartphone because it has a 360 degree curved screen from the front to the back. This makes Mi MIX Alpha a smartphone that has a screen to body ratio of 180.6%.
Bezels on the top and bottom are very thin, only reaching 2.15mm, making the Mi MIX Alpha a futuristic smartphone. There will be no speakers or holes on the screen because Xiaomi embed ultrasonic technology for proximity sensors and Acoustic Display technology that can produce sound through the screen without having to have speakers.
Xiaomi said that the back of the smartphone has an Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithm that can detect major scenarios, such as calling a taxi, controlling the Xiaomi Smart Home device with the Mi Home application, or to withdraw flight schedules.
On the back there are also three cameras that have a combination of a 108MP main camera, a 20MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera. The main camera uses a sensor that can produce photos up to 108MP resolution with good detail.
With a resolution of this magnitude, the images will still be good even if cropped or cropped up to 8x. The main camera also has Tetracell technology which by default will produce 27MP photos that are richer in information, ranging from brightness, sharpness, color, shadow, and much more.
While the ultra-wide rear camera is capable of producing photos with a wide area up to 117 degrees. Even Xiaomi also presents a feature of taking macro photos from close range up to 1.5cm by utilizing its ultra-wide camera.
Finally, the rear telephoto camera can take photos from a distance up to 2x optical zoom. Not to forget, Xiaomi has also embedded 4-axis Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Laser Focus, and Flicker sensors on its main camera.
Xiaomi does not provide a front camera on this smartphone because the rear camera can also be used to take selfies, wefies, or video calls thanks to the curved screen reaching the back.
From the hardware sector, Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, 12GB RAM, and 512GB internal storage. Thanks to this hardware combination makes it able to devour even heavy applications and games.
This smartphone has also been equipped with a capacity of 4050mAh battery that can last a long time. Not to forget, the Mi Fast Charging 40W feature has also been embedded in it which is able to charge the battery super fast.
With the features, designs and specifications offered, Xiaomi will sell Mi MIX Alpha at prices reaching 19,999 Yuan. With prices this high, is this device worth buying?
