The Android platform is often the target of malware. The latest is a virus named Joker that hides behind an application on the Google Play Store.
Malware Joker will secretly register the device to subscribe to premium services so that it harms the victim. Joker can also steal SMS messages, contact lists, and the user's device information.
At this time, Google is gradually removing applications containing Joker malware on the Play Store. Noted there are 24 applications containing these malicious programs in the Google application store.

Previously reported, cyber security research companies and CSIS Security devices detected Joker malware infiltrated dozens of malicious applications on the Google Play Store. The gravity, the download number of these applications has reached more than 500 thousand.
This virus is known to target users in 37 countries. Indonesia is certainly on this list. Besides Indonesia, other countries are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, China, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Honduras and India.
Furthermore, there are Ireland, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, Myanmar, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Argentina, Serbia, Singapore, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States of America.
